School of Game instructs students through specialized education that encompasses all areas of the game industry, such as Game Design, Programming, QA & Business, and E-sports. Based on the projected-based education, students could achieve 2 or more game developing experiences while enrolled, which allows them to have expertise in game development, QA, Business, etc…
We offer education based on the latest Game Engines, such as Unity, and Unreal Engine, and provide education on future-generation technology, such as VR/AR, Artificial Intelligent.
Developed projected-based games will be displayed at various domestic and international game exhibitions which allows students to possess a competitive portfolio and opens the door to the game industry.

Through Gyeonggi Game Test & Operation Service (GTOS), we test various new games and learn practical Game QA. By managing Korea E-Sports Association Gyeonggi branch, we plan and hold annual E-sports competitions. And for more, through special lectures by game industry experts, workshops, and Co-op, we have expertise in practical and field-based experiences.

  • Acquiring Skills from fieldworkAt Chungkang School of Game, Students could learn liberal arts (Game Design), science (Programming, QA), and Arts (Game graphics) in one place.
  • Game StudioProudly could say that it is the best facility in South Korea, we have a game development studio with 260 seats that carry out graduation works, Co-op, and commercial-purpose projects with professors. Juniors and Seniors attending projects will be provided an environment where they can immerse themselves in game development by providing personal or team workspaces in the studio.
  • Motion CaptureTo make 3D Game Animations, we provide motion capture to extract information about moving objects as data for a computer and apply it to 3D characters.
  • Global Game Exhibitions and Contest Submissions/ExhibitionsGames, such as 3D online games, PC games, mobile games, and VR/AR games, students’ work is submitted/exhibited in various international game exhibitions or contests every year, and are recognized with excellent results.
  • CGC, Chungkang Game ConferenceThe Chungkang Game Conference is well-known as the largest and the only conference in Korea that is open to the public. It is conducted with various tracks such as Game Development, Programming, Graphics, QA, Business, and E-sports, and invites experts such as school professors, talented undergraduates, high-competence alumni, and experts from the field to introduce game-related new technologies, game development techniques, game production post-mortem, and business examples.
  • Gyeonggi Game Test & Operation Service (GTOS)GTOS is established to provide commercialization support services such as improving game quality competitiveness, game management, or marketing to medium-sized game companies. Students can participate in testing published games through GTOS.
  • Chungkang Game ChronicleChungkang Game Chronicle is a historical event that announces games made by the School of Game Students, which has been going on for 23 years. It will be showing off to alumni and game-related experts. Undergraduates will introduce and demonstrate their games, made from project-based classes to alumni and experts, which will be advised. Also, could be scouted on the spot.
  • Leading College Specialized in New IndustriesLeading College Specialized in New Industries is a government-supported project to foster new-industrial technology for medium-sized companies by training specialized colleges in connection with regional strategies and leading industries.
    Many universities across the country have applied in 22 different areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Future-generation Semiconductors, Future-generation displays, Future-generation telecommunication, IoT, AR/VR, new Material science, and next-generation cars, and 9 of them were selected.
    Chungkang College of Cultural Industries, School of Game has been selected as the leading college specializing in the field of AR/VR area and is developing creative and innovative educational environment, beyond VR/AR to metaverse.
  • Game Design Major

    Add fun and emotion to the game.Design Major develops Game designers who connect creative ideas to the game. Students will learn game system management, level design, balance design, game UI/UX design, and game business models based on new technological capability and understanding of the fun factors of games and have game design ability to maximize economic value based on the social consensus of games.
  • Game Programming Major

    Bringing life to the game.Programming Major fosters game programmers who can implement an environment in which users can see, hear, and play what appears in the game. It encodes key elements of the game, such as new technology, such as VR/AR, game engine utilization methods with Unity and Unreal, interactions, such as graphic elements or character movements, artificial intelligence, and networking.
  • Game Graphic Major

    Put colors and souls into the game.Graphic Major implements visual interest and impression by producing various graphical elements in the game. We teach graphic content production techniques, such as concept arts, 2D, 3D modeling, animation, effect, UI, etc. From the best professors with abundant graphical experiences, students will learn the latest graphical techniques and acquire the qualities and capabilities of game graphics professionals.

    The finishing touch! Improve the fun and completeness of the game!QA & Business Major train game QA and business professionals who provide users with more fun and more complete games. With cooperation with game companies, we improve game QA skills by evaluating various games’ bugs/fun factors/testing and improve game business skills by learning game event design, game user analysis, practice game operations, etc…
