▶ Hello! I am Marina^^ I cam from the United States to study Comic Contents.

안녕하세요! 마리나입니다^^ 만화콘텐츠를 공부하기 위해 미국에서 왔습니다.

2. What is your most memorable experience at Chungkang College?

청강문화산업대학교에서의 가장 기억에 남는 경험은 무엇인가요?

▶ My most memorable moments from Chungkang are my teachers and classes. My teachers were also so nice and accommodating that it made my experience so great! I am really thankful for the amazing staff at Chungkang.

청강에서 가장 기억에 남는 경험은 교수님과 수업이었습니다!! 교수님들도 너무 친절하고 배려심이 많아서 제 경험이 정말 좋았습니다! 청강의 놀라운 교수님들에게 정말 감사드립니다!💕

3. What was the most challenging part of your study abroad life, and how did you overcome it?

유학 생활 중 가장 힘들었던 점과 어떻게 극복했는지 알려주세요.

▶ The most challenging part was definitely the language barrier. Since I am not fluent in Korean, it would sometimes be hard to keep up in class. Plus, my homework would be increased due to the fact I also had to make sure to translate my assignments to Korean haha.

가장 힘들었던 점은 100% 확실히 언어 장벽이었습니다. 한국어에 잘하지 않기 때문에 수업을 따라잡기 어려울 때가 많이 있었습니다. 게다가 과제를 한국어로 번역해야 했기 때문에 숙제도 늘어나졌습니다.

I did my best to overcome it by studying Korean and asking for help. Even though my Korean still needs improvement, I am very happy with the progress I have made form my first to final year at Chungkang!

한국어를 많이 공부하고 도움이 필요할 때 요청하며 극복하기 위해 최선을 다했습니다. 한국어 실력은 아직 향상이 필요하지만 청강에서의 첫 해부터 마지막 해까지 이룬 발전에 매우 만족합니다!

4. What are your plans or goals after graduation?

졸업 후의 계획(진로 또는 목표)은 무엇인가요?

▶ I plan to self-publish my own comics!(keep an eye out for me 😏) Hopefully one day my comics can grab the attention of major comic studio like DC Comics (my favorite)!!

저저만의 만화를 셀프 publish할 계획입니다! (계속 지켜봐 주세요 😏) 언젠가 제 만화가 DC 코믹스 같은 주요 만화 스튜디오의 관심을 끌 수 있기를 바랍니다 (제가 가장 좋아하는 스트디오!!)

5. What advice would you like to give to future international students?

후배 유학생들에게 해주고 싶은 조언이 있다면?

▶ Don’t be afraid. Ask for help when you need it. Don’t worry if your work is too different from your peers. Be you and give it your all!!
