The School of Game is driven by a spirit of infinite challenge and a commitment to make Korea’s game industry the best in the world. The school offers specialized training courses covering all aspects of the game industry, from game design to programming, graphics, game QA, operation and e-sports. Its project-based education requires every student to create more than two games: one casual type such as a mobile app-based game or a board game, and the other a large-scale type such as a MMORPG.
The results of project-based education are exhibited at or invited to various domestic and overseas game exhibitions including G-STAR, the largest international game exhibition in Korea, which in turn helps students to find jobs. Students can also work overseas by participating in an overseas internship program. The school runs a GTOS (Game Test & Operation Service Center) and the Gyeonggi Branch of KeSPA (Korea e-Sports Association): The former provides chances to test various new games and learn game QA practice, while the latter organizes and hosts e-sports competitions every year.
Students may enter the 1-year intensive program for bachelor’s degree after completion of the 3-year college coursework.
The program consist of multidisciplinary subjects in cartoon, animation and game. The program requires the presentation of project or thesis for B.A. degree.
