Introduction

Chungkang opened in 1996 as Korea’s first college to focus primarily on the cultural industries.

Chungkang College of Cultural Industries has established a comprehensive educational infrastructure that encompasses practical curriculums, studio-based production, project courses, overseas internships, and interdisciplinary, convergence-based education. This approach enables students to develop the practical skills and creative thinking necessary for success in the cultural industries.

Chungkang College operates seven specialized schools: Convergence Content, Animation, Manhwa (comics & cartoons, web-novels), Game, Culinary Arts, Fashion & Beauty Style, and Performing Arts. Each school delivers unique programs designed to cultivate talent for the cultural industries.

Through on-site and convergence-based education, Chungkang aims to be a center for human resource development for domestic and global culture industries.
