Housing

Three dormitory buildings accommodate 372 men and 272 women. Each room houses 4 students and is furnished with beds, desks, bookshelves and closets. Laundry and simple cooking facilities are shared by students on each floor. Residents can participate in sports competitions, personality education programs, and autonomously organized events. Various small group activities for self-development and and hobbies are also available.

Library

The library holds a total of 110,000 volumes, as well as various multimedia materials and web-based content such as e-books and e-magazines, in keeping with the latest university library trends. It also offers a range of online language courses. Various documents and electronic information are available to students, employees and local residents through a convenient online search system. Meanwhile, book cafe Do-Dream is a space where students can enjoy reading and relaxation. A small theater, Cine Star, regularly shows movies.

Comics and Animation Library

Established in 1998, Chungkang’s Comics and Animation Library, which houses about 60,000 comic volumes, video titles, reference books, and other specialized books from abroad, is proud to be Korea’s first library specializing in comics and animations. Its various rare images are so difficult to obtain in Korea that they are frequently consulted even by outside experts.

The Student Hall

Most amenities for students are located on the first floor of the student hall building, including Cafe Monga, serving coffee, other drinks and snacks, a billiard room, and ping pong tables. In the gallery on the second and third floors, various works by students are displayed all year round.
